Information we collect:
We collect your personal data for a specific purpose only – for your boating holiday, day boat hire or brochure request. When booking a holiday, we will require the name, address, email and contact telephone number of the person making the booking. We will also require the names of each person going on-board. When booking a day boat or requesting a brochure, we will require the name, address, email and contact telephone number of the person making the booking.
Credit/debit card payments:
If paying for your holiday by credit/debit card over the telephone, your details are put straight into our pdq machine and are not written down anywhere. If reserving a day boat, your card details are put straight onto our computer and are deleted within 24 hours of returning your day boat.
Visiting our website:
When booking through our website, you are agreeing for us to hold your details as required to make the booking. Your details will only be used to process your booking and to contact you about our services related to your booking. Like most websites, this site uses Google Analytics (GA) and HotJar to track user interaction. We use this data to determine the number of people using our site, to better understand how they find and use our web pages and to see their journey through the website. Although GA and HotJar records data such as your geographical location, device, Internet browser and operating system, none of this information personally identifies you to us. GA and HotJar also record our computer’s IP address, which could be used to personally identify you, but Google and HotJar do not grant us access to this. We consider Google and HotJar to be third party data processors. GA and HotJar make use of cookies, details of which can be found on Google’s and HotJars developer guides.
This site uses a Facebook pixel used by Facebook to deliver a series of advertisement products such as real time bidding from third party advertisers.
All cookies can be switched off by the user.

Booking by telephone:
If you make a booking over the telephone, the telephone number you are calling from will be displayed on our telephones, we will only record this if you wish us to use it to contact you regarding your booking or enquiry.
How long we keep your data:
The data we collect as required for your boat hire, will only be kept for 10 years after your latest boat hire. The data collected for a brochure request will only be kept for 4 years after which it will be deleted unless you have made a confirmed booking. Your data is stored securely and protected by a two stage password.
Sharing your data:
We only share your data with associated parties necessary for your boat hire/brochure request. We will never sell or give your details to any third party without your prior consent.
Marketing:
If we contact you in the future with marketing information, this could be in the form of an email, text, post or by telephone, and only when you have given us permission to do so.
Security:
We make every effort to keep your data safe and secure. We use security methods to protect your personal information, including the internet encryption technology (“SSL” or Secure Socket Layer) to encode personal information that you send to us through our website.
GDPR compliant providers:
We only use GDPR compliant providers, operating within the UK or Europe.
Right to be forgotten:
You have the right for us to stop processing your data and have all personal data we hold about you erased. There are certain conditions that apply to this but we will respond to your request within 30 days of receiving your instruction.
Changes to our privacy policy:
This privacy policy may change from time to time in line with legislation or industry developments. We will not explicitly inform our clients or website users of these changes. Instead, we recommend that you check this page occasionally for any policy changes
